SEPTEMBER

Images from various sources

This is how I want to be dressing right now, mix of sparkly, casual with a bit of an edge.

Currently feeling really dark, because I missed out on buying some awesome jeans. I just have to tell myself it wasn't meant to be.

ADVENTURE TIME

Feast your eyes on the bag you guys (BELOW)... I fashioned it from an old leather jacket that I bought from Recycle. Finally managed to find a chain for it at work the other day, however in my excitement, I took the bag out to the movies with my flatmates the other night and managed to lose my leather gloves.

At the Wellington Botanic Gardens, my flatmate and I went on a expedition to the Chinese Embassy to get a visa for me, we took the cable car, then walked through the gardens. Funny how we've been here for nearly a year now and haven't done any of these things. Oh yea, I'm heading to China and Japan for the holidays... bring it winter.
Lambton Quay, finally putting the camera to good use.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, I must say I've received quite a few compliments on this babe… which always makes me feel really good, especially when they say "It doesn't look homemade at all!". what? Its nice to know that other people don't hate what you've just spent hours making.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Shoes, studs, me, and Ri.

a team effort, we turned these Chuck's high tops into something which hopefully will be more wearable.

I've resorted to ye old faithful Converse Chuck Taylor's as my "walking shoes" since everywhere I need to go is in walking distance, so theres no need to take a bus. but what that means is that I HAVE to WALK everywhere, uni, work, church, town. Im not complaining about the physical demand, I've come to regard walking as my cardio (I always end up running to places since I'm always running late), I've given up on trying to run in flats or heels and turn instead to my Chucks who've gone to hell and back with me really.

FINE ARTS

Feast your eyes on these bad boys (the shorts) I got them from my all time favourite op-shop back home in Dunedin. Every time I go there, which used to be everyday after school, hay it was on my way home. I can always find something there, most of the time they need a little D.I.Y. here and there, but its for a good cause and its dirt cheap, just how I like it.

They resemble a curtain-like pattern, but on a softer material. I've been search for some red to add to my wardrobe, not that I don't have enough already. I'm actually at that point in the year where I'm kinda freaked out about how/where/how I'm going to move/store all my crap. OH CRAP.

did you know all my flat mates initials spell C.R.A.P.D. fun fact of the day, and we've made a pie to prove it!

wearing: thrifted shorts- $3
school fair top, by Max- $1
faux balenciagas- $80
Pimkie coat- 30 euros

the coat is going good, I idiotically didn't get enough material so its a little bit short…

ciao!
merci Rach pour des photos!
